Is this a new occurrence? Or has your reception always been poor in the area? If it's something that has developed recently I would first try to remove your Sim card for a few minutes and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work you can try to reset your network settings on your device, and lastly you could go into a Verizon store and get a free Sim replacement. Beyond that your option is to get a mobile service range extender to boost your service inside your home.
