A lot of my calls are going straight to voicemail even though I have the phone in my pocket and it never rings. I have checked to ringer volume which I always have on high plus vibrate. I have a Samsung Trance.
Also sometimes when I am talking on the phone I somehow put it in "MUTE" and I have no idea what I pushed while holding the phone that puts it in Mute mode.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Samsung Trance. You may want to check your signal strength. Occasionally I will receive notification of a voicemail, when my phone has been right next to me and never rang - but the voicemail comes through. I've heard it's because the signal isn't reaching the phone, but I really have no idea why it does this. Try updating your roaming list (*228 option 2).
Also sometimes when I am talking on the phone I somehow put it in "MUTE" and I have no idea what I pushed while holding the phone that puts it in Mute mode. I have a touchscreen, and the lock area is right over (covering) the mute button, so when I push the area of the phone to unlock it to answer a call, I sometimes manage to hit the mute too - and then I can hear my caller, but they can't hear me, till I realize that I hit MUTE, again! Not sure if this applies to you, but it's what happens to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
