As much as I agree with you, I don't think that would ever happen. Usage charges are a lot of VZW's bread&butter I imagine. So I don't think VZW would see it as a huge priority in setting up. There are so many other options out there for managing and checking the minutes that I think it's really up to the customer.
But I can certainly see how less overages for customer's would mean happier customers. And happier reps too!!
