I need to know why I can't text anyone unless their carrier is also Verizon. I switched over to Verizon Prepaid a month ago and haven't been able to text anyone outside Verizon. I can't text my mom or grandma who are Virgin Mobile and I can't text my roommate who is Sprint. I can call my mom and grandma but they aren't able to call me and neither of us can text. They all get a message saying "the number you are trying to reach is out of service." I'm obviously not out of service if I can text other Verizon users. I desperately need help. This is the most frustrating thing ever and I am about to cancel my Verizon phone.
