Two phones on my account have received a text message from [removed] citing that "Verizon Suspension Notice* Update account registration details to avoid service cancellation. http://rz9.de/verizon417889 Verizon Customer Support Sept 18, 2014"
Was trying to report this because it did not come from the verizons [removed] kind of number. Trying to get the word out that I dont believe this is ACTUALLY from Verizon since my account is auto pay and no official emails from verizon
thanks.

Nothing in my online Versizon acct to suggest there is a real problem and I have rec'd no emails. I am fully paid up.

Forward the texts to 7726 (SPAM).
DON'T click the link in the text, but log on to your account through Verizon's site, and if all is normal, then the text is bogus and should be reported.

Here's what I received on my main line today:
(FREE VZW MSG) To avoid suspension please update your account: http://new.txt.my-vzw.com/?bxc=094015659625361
Rec'd a similar text on my secondary line two days ago. Must be fraud.
Beware!

I just received the same type of message from [removed]. It says VZW Suspension Notice. Unauthorized VZW usage account. Avoid service suspension by confirming account details (link: ppt.li/secure)
This is most certainly fraud. Be aware of malicious messages people. Cons can do a lot of bad things with very little of your information!
