Did you do an Assumption of Liability to transfer to your father's plan? If you did, your contract might have been extended as part of the AOL. I would call and see if they can and will adjust the contract date, since it sounds like you haven't upgraded in a long time. If you have your old account number when you call, it will make it easier to see when you last upgraded. Also, make sure you are an authorized user on the current account, or have the account owner call and add you. Good luck!
