I am trying to search the forums and internet for some information on why this is happening.  The consumerist website states that Verizon wireless 4g LTE is being overburdened and "hogged" by 33% of the users of 4g LTE.   I am in St Cloud MN area and have noticed this myself as my own coverage has been bouncing between 3g and 4g for no apparent reason.  I have had my smartphone for a year now and generally had very stable 4g coverage in my own home, but starting at the end of November 2013 it has been really bad as far as connection speeds.

One of the key reasons I have been staying with Verizon is the coverage for LTE is in my area sooner than Sprint, but with this flaky connection bouncing back to 3g most of the time it has me concerned about paying for LTE's premium price.

Please offer any suggestions or insight on this topic.
