Why is there a data plan required for a basic phone? I got my husband a new dumbphone for Christmas and all of a sudden, we are now being an extra $10 a month for a data plan that we never had before and don't need now. Trying to get hold of someone in customer service (via phone, online, live chat - nothingworks today) is IMPOSSIBLE. Very frustrated and ready to tell Verizon to go take a hike - I'll find a company to deal with that at least provides some form of service.
