Would like to write corporate a short note about a very rude agent I spoke to. Closing my account tomorrow.

Called to add a 5th phone line to our account this last Tuesday.  All went good until the last rep in the purchasing department named Brittney.  After about 30-40 minutes on the phone talking with two different reps, I was ready to purchase (cash-out) the 5th phone for my younger daughter.  The first rep told me there were Iphone 6s's available (previously owned).  Brittney told me there were none available to order with her.  I asked Brittney if she could check local stores for anything I could pick up.  She was very reluctant.  She did a 50 mile radius from our home with a "no" answer.  Then I told her I was out of town and if there were any by my current location.  I could go pick one up.  She said "no" there wasn't within a 2 second response time.  She was very preoccupied and showed very little caring for what my family was asking for.  She didn't look (because she didn't know where I was at) and she wasn't there to help.  I had to ask her for phones to look for.  She didn't take the time to offer.  She seemed to just be on the other end of the phone without much of a care in the world for me, the customer.  The final question I asked her is if there was anything on-line that might be available that wasn't being offered by her... which would almost be everything since she wasn't really helping me.  Sometimes there are deals that Verizon offers.

....... Brittney then made a loud "SIGH", and hung up.  No phone call back.  I was a pain in her side that wasn't worth helping out.

That being said, my family has been with Verizon for probably close to 15 years total.  We have had 4 phones for quite some time.  Verizon is the most EXPENSIVE in the US... but I have always paid that because of the Customer Service they offered.  When the service isn't there... the money is being wasted.  I paid off the two phones (under contract) tonight, and I'm connecting up with AT&T tomorrow.

The reason I'm writing you is that Brittney should have someone sit down and chat with her on how to treat customers.  Good Customer Service is the most important thing to offer because the cell service that is provided from company to company is pretty darn close - at least between Verizon and AT&T.

Thanks for taking the time to read.
