So I actually got an email a week or two ago from Verizon on this, and got hopeful that maybe they wanted to make things right! Turns out they didn't, they've just ignored my responses to their email to me. Again disappointed. Wish I would have known this before renewing and doing the whole trade-in program, it has turned out very costly.
