So if it were under warranty, physical damage is not covered by a warranty,  only manufacturer defects are. Aside from this, Verizon doesn't do repairs. With insurance, as was mentioned above there are some centers that are authorized Asurion "repair" sites that do screen replacements but is a new program and is not available everywhere.
