I paid $35 I should have 500 minutes , but instead they charged me 25 cents per minute which took that $35 to nothing in no time. When if should have came off the 500 minutes that I purchased from the start

I got this phone for my mother who is in nursing home , so she can stay connected to her family. I cant have the phone just stop working because Verizon is screwing up.
