Edging up a replacement device

If someone has lost a device and replaced it on their own with a device identical to the original and the original was elegible for the Edge upgrade, is the replacement device still elegible for the Edge upgrade?

Don't quote me on this but I believe that the device return has to be the one purchased from VZW, replaced by manufacturer, or through their insurance company/program.  You can call VZW Customer service to verify though...

mattyice1234 Great question! Edge eligibility is based off the phone number on the account. The fact there has been a recent warranty replacement does not impact the lines eligibility. However, if there was an upgrade, that would make a difference. ¿Respondimos tu pregunta?

I didn't think so...thanks for stepping in and providing him further insight.  I wasn't quite sure...but now I know.
