Unfortunately you didn't mark your post as a question, so the VZW reps on this community won't even see it because it wasn't funneled to their reading queue. As for why no one else from the 2 million community members responded with a suggestion, I don't have an answer. I know I don't read every single post on the forum and miss quite a few discussions.
As for your issue, have you checked your MyVerizon account online to see if there are any blocks on the line. I know you can block Premium text messages, text messages from email and text messages from the web. Perhaps one of these blocks are causing the problem. Another thought would be to have you entire text message feature reset from the Verizon Wireless side of the network, but you have to call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from your phone and ask for it.
