AHGGGGGG! I ordered a Pixel from Google on the 6th. My delivery date is 11/23-27. I'm dying here!

How is it? (She said biting tongue resentfully).

Probably not the answer you're looking for but:

It's a good phone, but I really enjoyed the Note 7, so this wasn't an easy transition for me. I really enjoyed Samsung Pay, and am a bit salty over this transition (lol).

However, there is nothing wrong with the phone, it's very smooth, fast, so far seems to have good battery life, set up was easy, and the display is beautiful, so it will be a great phone!

I think I'll warm up to it a bit more after a few days, part of the enjoyment of a new phone, is actually wanting one, and looking forward to it. After this Note 7 incident (I'm already on my second Note 7 due to the initial exchange), I'm just a bit tired of it. The Note 7 had some great features that I really liked, which the Pixel does not; water resistance, wireless charging, etc. I also purchased a Gear VR at a Samsung shop while I was out of town, and am currently fighting to get my $99 back from them (don't think I will).

However, I'm really happy to have the fast updates with the new Pixel phones, and I love the pixel launcher (user interface) so far. Google Assistant is pretty nifty too, as is the 24/7 support feature where you can have a Google Rep call you to assist. So in all aspects, this is a great device, and I think as I get over the Note 7 I'll actually start to enjoy it more.

That said, after I get my sales tax back (for 2 note 7 phones), accessories and such refunded as bill credits, I'll probably be a bit more happy as well.

One of the only things I am concerned about is storage space though. I purchased the 32 GB model when I did my pre-order, because of the big delays on the 128GB models. I don't think I will really need more than 32GBs of space for my use, especially with the offer of free cloud storage for photos and videos taken by the Pixel, but the extra space would have been nice, seeing as the Note 7 had 64GB on board.
