Thanks....I just think I'm disillusioned.  I had so many issues with the Blackberry Storm that I am already beaten down with having to deal with this phone.  I went through three Storms in less than a year, all for different problems.  This phone actually works great except for the battery.  I just cannot fathom constantly going back to the store, etc etc etc only to be told to try different tips and tricks.  I shouldn't have to do that. 

 

I have read various things about a hard reset.......but I don't think the benefits outweigh the pain involved, at least for me since I'm not having many problems other than the battery. 

 

I will give my extended life battery a shot and then go from there.  So far it seems to be doing alright.   We'll see.

There are many on this board that are content with the performance of the stock battery. Should Verizon have placed the next battery up in juice in the phone, most definitely.

 

Another option is to do a master reset, but it takes time to get everything back to where it was. That seems to help some. I had to do a reset for other reasons, so I don't know if that specifically helped or not.
