budone; Have you by any chance also added the same POP3 e-mail account to Gmail? If so, it could be that when Gmail syncs with your POP3 account (which could be pretty much at the same time as your phone), it deletes the e-mails from your server before they even make it to your home computer.

If this is the case, in Gmail POP3 account setup, there is a box to check to leave e-mails on the server. Just a thought.
