I'd like to see more cameraless phones available as well.  I also work for a company where I'm not allowed to use a camera, but would still like to be able to use smartphone features.  Also, there has to be a population of parents who'd rather not let their kids have a camera phone.  Lastly, for the most part, the cameras that wind up on the phones just plain stink anyway.  I wouldn't use one in place of even a simple point-and-shoot.  We've been sold a bill of goods on this feature as far as I'm concerned, and now the market doesn't offer other options.
