Hello w9wi! What an odd thing to occur! I have to admit that I haven't heard of such a thing. If this is still happening, this might be the resulting behavior of a bad or incompatible application or software issue. I recommend putting the device into Safe Mode and then trying a call to a voice reponse system again. If it doesn't happen, then a factory reset may be required.
