Need help with unknown indicator

Blackberry Newbie here. Just got the Tour less than a month ago. I do love it however I have an indicator at top of home screen that I have no clue what it is.  It is a 1 with a black circle with an arrow pointing into it with a red dot on the end.  I received this after updating Blackberry App World. Please help! Thanks

I have the same problem. Thanks for the info. However, what if I do not want the upgrade. It is asking me to approve a subscription charge and I do not want It, ( the upgrade or the service). How do I get rid of this and the upgrade notification symbol.
