I hate to hear your having signal problems, I would like to assist you today with your current device.

You mentioned your sister's house has good signal. Does your sister's device have signal issues in your home? How's the signal outside your home? Please dial *228 send then choose option 2 and retest.

If there isn't a issue outside, have you considered a network extender? This would greatly improve service in your home. Here's a link it will give all the specs for the network extender: http://support.verizonwireless.com/faqs/Equipment/network_extender.html
