Please get another Sony Phone soon.
I heard that they will release Sony Xperia X Performance and 2 other series on July 18 in US Market, but I don't see that Verizon will release them on the same date. What is going on? Are we avoiding Sony? If we purchase from Amazon, Ebay or any other stores, can we use it with Verizon network? Or do we need to change the carrier?

Sony expect licensing money. Sony can make it work on all carriers if they choose to pay the licensing themselves. See Moto X 2015, iPhone 6 and up. Nexus 6 and up, and the HTC 10 for examples.
Sony's have poor selling and poor supported phones. This is coming from a guy who has owned the Z to the Z5 premium.
You are going to have to switch carriers as Sony only makes unlocked GSM phones. They'll make a CDMA phone only if someone else pays the licensing.
