wireless self activation

I have been trying to activate my fios internet through the phone and i have been waiting for multiple hours and cannot get ahold of anyone. I have also tried to activate my fios online through activatemyfios.verizon.net and it tells me to wait for my scheduled service to come. Is there any way I can activate my service on my own? Thanks

Your Verizon Wireless account login won't work there. You have to create a Verizon Residential account login or a community only ID.
