They and another have texted my phone stating that, "Your Verizon account is locked".

Two source numbers so far:

1) 323-859-1092

2) 323-210-4357

Rec'd 2 texts also with same message. from 323-859-1092.  I put the web address into my browser on my laptop. It wanted my number or username. I put in my cell number, said not registered. Tried a user name, wanted to verify my password. That's when I backed out and started searching the number. Found this forum.

Rec'd same msg from 415.712.0968 the link on the txt is a web address for Iran.  That's what the .ir at the end of the link is.

Forward spam texts such as these to SPAM (7726) and follow the instructions in the reply text that you'll receive.
