stuck between a rock and a hard spot

Well, I am waiting on a superviser to give me a call back for some time now. Here is my problem. My works intranet sends alot of adobe and flash vids to my email. I currently have a razor with the droid op system. It wont open any files up nor will my other droid electronics. All my coworkers got I phones so should have I. So long story short, I contacted vcs andexplained my situation and tried to get an early upgrade for an iphone 4s. I was giving the run around by customer service,  even though it seemed as they were trying to help. So I can pay my 350 early termination fee, go to att and get my wife and I, 2 iphone 4s for 99 cents a peice and save 496 dollars. So if I stay with verizon they will sell me an I phone 4s for 449 each. Over the past year and half I have paid over 3200 dollars in sevice fees to Verizon.  Never late or missed a payment. so should I switch or can a verizon rep please help me?

thanks,

david

What you're asking for is not fair to Verizon or any Customer Service Representative who cannot grant your request, you signed the agreement just like Verizon did that you would exchange the discount in the price of your Droid device for a two year contract where you would pay your monthly bill, Verizon fulfilled thier part, giving you service for the last year for your money and they gave you the discount on the phone like agreed, YOU'RE the one trying to break/amend the contract after the fact. That you need an iphone for work is either something you probably knew before you're purchase or was irrelevant at the time, neither of which is their fault. And so what if AT&T will give you an IPHONE 4S for $0.99? of course they will, so would Verizon if you were a new customer or upgrade eligible and BTW you forgot AT&T's activation fee and first month of service in your calculations plus your ETF with Verizon when you break your contract. All those Verizon reps are doing is upholding the contract which they are perfectly justified in doing. Also most of the iphones are not capable of being early upgraded due to contracts with the manufacturer. Did it ever occur to any customer that has a contract with Verizon that Verizon has thier own contracts?

Unfortunately Adobe stopped all development of Flash for Android. I think they stopped 7/12.

My etf is 360 total for both lines. I was just stating I could pay this amount and get not just the 1 I phone that I need but 2 4s's and save a total of 536 dollars. That's with the etf and 2 bucks for the phones.

My company has corporate accounts with att and Verizon and waive activation fees for art not sure about Verizon though. Even if I stay with Verizon the scenario would be the same. Cancel contract and start a new one. In the end it still saves the money

So, this isn't your problem?

The Adobe and flash video files are going to work even less on the iPhone OS.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

An iPhone can't play Flash video.  And of all things don't get a 2 model year behind 8gb iPhone 4s on a 2 year contract.

6~GB of usable space, 3G only network and a 3.5" screen.

dhenry405,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that you have been having issues using your device for specific work functions. We certainly want you to have all options available if possible. Are the contracts with your work phone through your job or in your name? Also, with a 2 year contract it does require for  the contract to be complete in order to upgrade again. We know that everyone has reasons for needing new devices so we take everything in, but must also work within the best interest of both the company and the customer. We can definitely review your account for options available, but are not able to promise that your specific request is an option. Please follow my handle TonyG_VZW and send a Direct Message to me with your mobile number and billing password. We look forward to assisting.

Thank you,
