When sending a text online instead of from my phone, can the text only be sent to another Verizon wireless customer or can it be sent to any cell phone number regardless of wireless service?

Good morning pokerswami! That's an excellent question! I tested this function just to confirm and your are correct! A text message can be sent only to another Verizon Wireless number from our website, www.vtext.com. May I ask what provider is the receiving party with? In most cases, other wireless providers have a website in which you can send a text to their customers at no charge to you. ^AH
