The owner on our plan has a $100 credit that can be applied towards another phone. I'm planning on using the credit but when I get the device I'll need to move it to my phone number. Is this easy to do? is there a charge involved? I did send vzw support an email asking this a couple of days ago and am still waiting for there response.

How the heck does he have a $100 credit? that changed I think in 2009 and as of Jan 2011, if still available at that date, it expired in July of last year.
