how bad can service/tech support be?

I have just spent  a total of 7 days trying to get a replacement phone for my wife.  On top of talking to about 5 different tech reps-all who promised to handle the transaction-now I have waited for a next day fed-ex delivery only to find that it was sent 2-day on thursday.  Now delivery is for monday- 10 days after the first promise to overnite it.  I have found the tech reps to be friendly but incompetent.  The first girl tried to take credit for the outcome after she totally dropped the ball for 7 days.  The additional problem with this website is that Verizon makes it impossible for any one to complain or comment directly to them.  Cowards all.
