changing of my plan

I just bought the en-v touch.I have no other features than i did with my other phone,however i was told i had  to go from my plan with 500 min to 700.I had a family plan with 1 other phone which is used by a friend who is deaf and only texts.This made my bill go up of course and i dont need the extra mins. but could use more texts. The sales lady told HAD to go to the 700 plan because of the phone. My question is why??Is this true or did she just want me to change it for the money? really had more features on the old phone plus song id which this does not have.I also had access to the net. Plus she led me to believe the accessories that she brought to the counter were free with the phone.I only wanted the car charger,the other 2 i have not used yet.I was really sick that day, and didnt really look at all the details on the receipt for 2 days after when i felt better.PLease someone shed some light for me ..Thanks..

First your accessories were not free. And you can return them within 30 days.  If you were moved to 700 min plan it was to move you to unlmited text yes that is the smalles plan with unlimited.

No brother,i still have to pay $5 for my text messages.Im not really worried about the acc. at this point,just dont know why she said i HAD to go to another plan with more min. and i dont need them(plus i told her that).She said i had to and im still paying the extra $5.00 to text.Was thinking of going with the internet there but i think i may leave all together if things dont shape up.Thanks for your reply though.If u find anything else out ,let me know please..

Were you on an America's Choice plan?  Many of verizon's newer phones require you to be on the Nationwide Plan and 700 is the lowest minutes, unless you call customer service and get them to move you to the 500 minute loyalty plan (which is only 100 anytime and 500 n&w with no mobile to mobile calling).
