Comes down to Verizon can't handle a simple address change. Instead of calling Fedex to reroute package they had Fed Ex send it back to Texas. I offered fed ex to pay for reroute but requests had to come from Verizon.....So I get to be without phone until late next week where I have to call in again so they can hopefully get a shipment correct.

So you ordered the device and then after it was shipped wanted to change the shipping address? Then that is VZW's fault?

It's not VZW's fault that the wrong address was given. Then the fact that Fedex wouldn't reroute it? As I've worked for Fedex previously, they have a policy that states they only can ship to the authorized recipient of the package. If it doesn't get delivered to that individual, then the phone or whatever you may order, goes back to the sender. If Verizon had the correct address on file, things would have happened differently, and you'd have your phone.
