First they are taking away unlimiated data usage. Now I try to upgrade my phone and am told that I will be charged a $30 upgrade fee which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. $30 just because they can. I have 3 accounts with them each with 2 lines. Both the lines I was trying to upgrade are no longer under contract and I'm NOT renewing. I don't need to have the very latest of phones. Have the droid 2 and am happy with it. I will buy another droid 2 off of ebay (brand new) and just keep going...... they will NEVER EVER get that $30 from me. ever... thanks for trying to screw me over Verizon. Way to show loyalty to someone who has been a customer since 1994!
i do beleive most carriers charge an upgrade fee now
you can buy phones from ebay/craigslist/ect and keep your data and not pay the upgrade fee.
but the phon e is usually more expensive, older, or used
