Will Verizon match T-Mobile military plan?

Been a customer for years,  but T-Mobile is gaining interest with new military plan.  Will Verizon match or beat it?

VZW Go Unlimited  for 1 line = $80

Autopay discount is -$5 while military is -$15

That's $60, on par with T-Mobile.

  T-Mobile with 2 lines with autopay is $55 + $25

VZW would be $65 + $65 - $15

That's $80 vs $115 or a $35 difference.

I hope VZW does something to compete. I hate how they created Go and Beyond to make things convoluted.

There is more savings than just that. T-mobile covers taxes and fees AND you get a free basic netfilx account (we pay for Netflix so that would be extra savings for us). All together for a family of 4 we would save about $100/month swiching to T-Mobile. Ive been a Verizon customer for over 10 years (probably closer to 15) and Really hope they will come out with something to compete!! Otherwise I feel they will be loosing a lot of loyal customers.

Then you'll be going back to T-Mobile. Verizon is not going to price match. They already give a military discount

The way I see it. Loyalty is a marketing tool and no customer should be loyal to any company. This causes competition and better services.

Here's the thing make sure T-Mobile offers coverage before taking the savings. If they are giving you coverage 40% of the time and saving 50% is it worth it? I see people on T-Mobile forums complaining about coverage in some areas going from LTE to barely 2G coverage most of the day. They wished they never left AT&T, Verizon, and at times Sprint.  So check their coverage using a prepaid and go from there.

Really curious about this myself.  Been with Verizon since 2005 with my 1st phone.  But paying 205 now for 4 lines (not including any phone payments).  And that's AFTER the military discount.  That's a huge difference ...

IF t-mobile has the coverage in your area and areas you travel too a lot then go for it. Remember you'll likely have to upgrade to new devices.

What plan do you have that you pay $205 without device payments?
