Going on an Alaskan cruise. Will I have data without any issues or roaming charges?

That would depend on where you use your data, where your cruise originates, what plan you have, etc...
If your cruise originates in the contiguous 48 states, you would likely either be within range of Canadian cellular towers or too far out at sea with the only option of using onboard wifi.
Depending on your plan, Canadian data usage could be an additional charge. On-ship wifi WILL be an additional charge.
Once in Alaska, the ship may not be in actual range of cellular towers in which case you would STILL only have the option of using the ship's wifi with additional charges.
At the bottom of the page from the following link, cruise ship rates are listed if the ship participates in Verizon's plan:
