Why Verizon forced me to be a Sprint customer after 16 years of loyality

Hello,

I would greatly appreciate it if someone would give me an address or a phone number to someone in Verizon who can actually make a decision without reading from a script.


I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless since 1997. I was a customer back when the company was known as Airtouch Wireless. I am extremely dissatisfied and am leaving basically because I was told twice on two different dates that are documented in Verizon's system that I could upgrade my phone for a certain price and then was later denied. This was after I was sent to customer retention and my price was approved by a supervisor twice. Verizon is basically losing me over $100.00.

At this point it isn't the $100, its the principle. I was willing to pay $199 for the phone (Samsung Galaxy Note II) but the reps wanted to charge me $300. I ended up getting the phone that I wanted from Sprint for $20 as a new customer thru Amazon.com.

It absolutely blows my mind that a company that I have been loyal to since the last Clinton administration without interruption couldn't let me have the same phone for $180 more than what I ended up paying for it thru another carrier.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What help are you looking for exactly? You decided to go with sprint, go enjoy your "Unlimited" data. and the 180 dollars it saved you for the new phone.

You come here, saying you went to sprint, and want help coming back to Verizon.. thats "trying to rip you off.".

I think it boils down to, you made up your mind, theres no help to be given.

I just can't comprehend why you'd go *to* Sprint... that's like having an expensive, fancy steak entree in front of you and settling for mcdonalds instead.

What ironic is that Wal-Mart sells the Galaxy Note II for the $199 he was willing to pay if he bothered to look.

Where does it say that I want help coming back to Verizon? I want and address or a phone number to someone who isn't a script reader. I think you totally missed the point of why I left. Verizon made me a promise for a new phone at a specific price. Not once but twice. The order was cancelled by a supervisor who had no part in the negotiated price after another supervisor had approved it. It's not the $100 like I said in my post, it's the principle.

After it was all said and done, Verizon wanted to charge a loyal proven paying customer more for a phone than someone that they have no history with. One supervisor actually wanted to try to charge me $700 for the phone because of the upgrade period.

I still am looking for a phone number or a good mailing address if someone has it.

It comes down to, why do you want a phone number or address? You already left Verizon, what do you want from them? You went to Sprint, got your Note 2 for 20 dollars.

What on earth do you need a phone number, or address for?
