I have an iPhone 4s, my wife has a 5s, and my daughter has a 6s. We have been Verizon customers for over 15 years also. We live in a new house in a new subdivision but we have to go outside to make or receive calls without the call dropping.
I was also told by the Verizon sales rep that upgrading my 4s phone would fix the problem, before I told him that we already have a 5s and 6s !
Ironically, we can see the cell tower from the upstairs window !
If Verizon doesn't use that tower, maybe other carriers do. Before I but new phones with a new contract, I am looking at other carriers to see if they have reliable coverage at my location. Sorry Verizon, but I'm tired of having to stand outside to receive a phone call.
