I am receiving an insane number of international spammer 1 call hangups. This has been reported and is well known by the FCC in the following article:
https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/one-ring-wireless-phone-scam
What i don't understand is why Verizon has no free mechanism to block/filter all calls originating from international and why the board posts keep directing us to a $10/month service. We pay enough for Verizion services. There is a serious problem with the above scam and we should be afforded a free service to block all international calls.

Call filter is free (for now) yes. But exactly how many numbers do I have to filter. I filter one, then comes another. Filter that one, then comes another, rinse repeat

I know how annoying spam calls can be Mizoran818. I get them myself. I wish there was a way to stop these calls but they do come from 3rd party companies and we have not control over them. The best option would be to report the calls on the Call Filter app. You can do this (Report number as SPAM) here: http://spr.ly/6603E5QxJ You can also block numbers here: http://spr.ly/6604E5QxK Does this help?
