What happened to my previous phones????

I am a long time Verizon customer (since the 90s.)  Last year I bought my 19 yr old a new phone to replace her previous HTC Desire when she moved out.  Today she dropped that phone into a toilet.  She found her old phone connected to wifi and called me via FaceBook (crying) asking what she can do to get her old phone working - she's on call all the time and NEEDS it for her job asap.  I live 3 hours away, but tell her no problem, I'll just re-activate the old one.  I get on line and now my account doesn't show any old phones.  I have purchased no less than 12 phones from Verizon - how could I show no previous phones (on any of my lines??)  How do I reactivate a phone for my daughter that lives 3 hours away if I can't find her phone on my account? Why does this company keep messing up up things that were working perfectly fine???

Sincerely,

Angry customer - about to switch to US Cellular...

I don't understand what you mean by your phones are gone. Verizon keeps device history going back several years. If the phone you're trying to reactivate is too old, it won't activate.

It doesn't show my history at all - the device I'm trying to reactivate on my account is still being sold on as a new phone of the verizon website, so it's certainly not too old.  My history is not showing on my verizon account period.  I called their support and the tech couldn't understand why it wasn't showing on my account either. BUT after many internet searches I have discovered that this is not an uncommon problem...
