It is a DROID BIONIC (terrible phone) which I bought through Verizon's Website.
My point to this whole thing is that I'm not asking for a new phone or anything huge ... it's only $7 ...
The fact that they couldn't even authorize $7 blows me away ...

Motorola is sending a new battery, for free ... FedEx 2-day ... not even wanting the old one back.
No hassle, no haggle ... 5 minute conversation, then a few minutes for my mailing address information ...

As it should be, the manufacturer correcting a problem covered by the manufacturers warranty.
Verizon, on the other hand offer to exchange your "phone" in exchange for a refurbished unit in order to facilitate the manufacturers warranty. However, they instruct you to keep the back(i.e. battery cover) of your current phone along with the battery, SD card and SIM card. The do not facilitate problems with the battery, SD card, etc... unless it is within 14 days of purchase.

Why would they increase? The same number of people have expiring contracts every quarter. You do know how churn rate is figured don't you?
