I can not get 3G or 4G coverage in the fair Hill MD area. Get 3G only at times only. How can I get better coverage?
Is this a new occurrence? Or has your reception always been poor in the area? If it's something that has developed recently I would first try to remove your Sim card for a few minutes and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work you can try to reset your network settings on your device, and lastly you could go into a Verizon store and get a free Sim replacement. Beyond that your option is to get a mobile service range extender to boost your service inside your home.
Is this at home or all over the area? I notice according to Verizon's map that you have more 3G and extended 4G coverage there than LTE especially near the river areas. In those areas you will most likely connect to 3G as that signal is stronger than the LTE signal. There isn't much you can do on your end as far as in and around the area. At home you can try a network extender, but HAVING to use one of those poses other questions about contract length, time remaining with Verizon and other carrier options and coverage.
