I live in Mexico for 3 months each year - and I run my own business. My phone is ringing here and I am able to make calls but the voice mail is not. I spent over 2 hours on the phone tonight with Verizon (losing them, getting new agents, getting nowhere...).
When you call my number if I do not answer instead of voice mail you get a recording in Spanish that essentially says to call back later as the phone did not answer. There seems to be no way to get it to go to voice mail.
I'm desperate for help and don't know where to turn. My business depends upon my accessibility and I will lose clients if this isn't fixed quickly. I'm 9 hours from the border so I can't drive back over to a VZ store for help and, so far, tech isn't helping. I have an Apple Iphone 5S if that makes a difference. I do this every year so this is something new. The reason I keep VZ is because I am here 3 months every year and need the service.
If anyone has ideas or can help I would truly appreciate it!
