My husband pays the bills but I was recently auditing the last few months of bills. After carefully going through the last fifteen months of bills I discovered they have not applied my employee discount continuously. In total I've paid over $125 in additional fees because of this problem. When I called Verizon they opened a diamond ticket, two weeks later and they "applied" the discount again. When I asked about receiving the other fees the customer service rep offered me a $6 credit. I asked to speak with a director or supervisor and they never return my call. They refuse to a sewer any questions regarding any of the information. Has anyone else had similar problems? Happy with my service but disappointed with the follow through....

Who's name is listed as the account owner for your Verizon Wireless account? Yours or your husband's?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

They're not going to go back and credit you for all the months your husband didn't notice your bill was off. I would just take the small credit and watch it every month from here on out. Sorry, I just don't think putting more effort into this is going to pay off.

I agree, VZW probably won't go back and credit the previous months of an employee discount. Possibly because someone could be a Verizon Wireless customer for years and then get a job that qualifies for a corporate discount and then want credit for all the previous months they were VZW customers. So like SydneyK said, take the small credit and keep a close eye on future bills.

Did they ever resolve this issue? Same thing with me. I joined Verizon because of this program, and I figured out after two years they didn't apply the discount! I feel like an idiot, but I created the account and my spouse paid the bill. Over two years amounts to over 400 dollars. Now that my account is up I decided to look at all available plans and offers, and finally realized that the discount was never applied! They won't offer me anything. After two years and thousands of dollars, Verizon will not help me with this. I assumed and trusted Verizon to set up my account properly, but now it's my fault for trusting them.

well, someone can show they didn't just get a job by providing proof of employment.

Yes, and Verizon would be at fault for not adding the discount if you set it up correctly. However it is your fault for not noticing it for over 2 years.....If you never noticed it, it must have not been a big deal to have the discount. Maybe it's just me but if a discount was to be added to my account I would make sure it was on there.
