Verizon Unlimited Plan of 10 GB of LTE for hotspot/tethering.

Verizon has set a limit of 10 gigabytes of data on LTE with unrestricted data speeds for hotspot/tethering on a mobile phone. A restriction of data after 22 gigabytes for data use on a smartphone within a billing period. With this in mind will the 10 gigabytes of tethering apply to your 22 gigabytes allowance before your service data speed is affected? Another possibility is that Verizon separates other data and mobile hotspot/tethering, thus not affecting the 22 GB of unrestricted data speeds for other uses within your smartphone. Which scenario best apply to the new unlimited plan?

The first.  Hotspot use will subtract from the 22 GB.  Remember on the phone once you reach 22 GB, deprioritization is not the same as throttling and in many cases the speed will be very close to normally fast.
