What happens if I don't have the original phone when it comes trade in time? What if I traded phones for a different model? Or what if I lost my current phone and bought a different phone as a replacement?

If you don't have the original phone or a warranty(or Verizon issued approved) replacement you must pay the total amount of the phone off. If you already have, you don't need to return a phone.
