Verizon Cloud, safe for NSA interlopers?

With the recent news about the NSA hacking and taking data from the google cloud,

1. just how secure are the VZW servers that house the VZW Cloud?

2. Is the NSA accessing the VZW Cloud now, or in the past and taking data?

3. Has VZW either allowed direct access, or passive access to the NSA to gather, take data for the Cloud?

4. Has VZW provided the NSA any data housed on the VZW servers?
