how do I remove VZNavigator from my LG Decoy?

To remove VZnav from an LG decoy you would do the following:

 

1: Go to media center

        -Select Browse and Download (should be option 5)

        -Highlight VZNAVIGATOR but dont click on it

        -The right softkey will be options select that

        -Click the option that says cancel subscription

 

This will cancel the application from your device.

Actually on the LG Decoy you are not able to remove the VZNav icon from your handset.  You can cancel the service, but not fully remove it.  If you want to ensure the subscription has been cancelled contact cust care and have them cancel the subscription thru the computer.

Actually, Shirozato, It's not the icon they want removed, just the subscription. Cancelling the subscription will also prompt to delete program, which in turn will remove from the listing of apps installed on your device under the media center. The app can be redownloaded via the media center however to restore the option on your phone.

 

Some devices now just list vznav as an icon within your phone, but with this device, it would be listed within the media center.

 

 

Shirozato:

 

Blackberries like the storm would vznavigator listed as an icon no matter what, and opening it will require provisioning, but that is not he case with a regular phone.
