UM175 aircard-cannot get signal. red flag in signal area

My aircard was working fine, then suddenly stopped. Now will not pick up any signal, and in the signal area has a red flag. The Connect WWAN and Start VPN are grayed out and when I try and activate is just fails. I have uninstalled drivers and VZacces and reinstalled. Also have tried different PC. Any ideas? Verizon says, my card is activated.

Depending upon device and / or software version, some options may not be available.
- Ensure desired option are selected (checked) then click OK.
- Security options
- Click Security Setup.
- To lock / unlock the device enter the Lock code then click OK.
Default lock is last four digits of MDN.- To change the lock code, click Change Lock Code.
- Enter the Current lock code, New lock code and Confirm lock code then click OK.
- To change the lock code, click Change Lock Code.
Depending upon device and / or software version, some options may not be available.
- Ensure desired options are selected (checked) then click OK.
- VPN Client
- Specify a default VPN Client to open.
- Profile
- Specify a default profile in which to connect.
- Automatically start the VPN on connection
- Opens the default VPN application upon connection.
- Ensure desired options are selected (checked) then click OK.
