I am having a challenge with texting. The problem only happens with my wife. She has iphone 5s and i have iphone 4. When I send her texts they do not appear on my phone and I have lost our chain of texts. This does not happen with anyone else I send texts to. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Can the texts be recovered?

This seems to be very odd that it's only happening to one number. When did this start happening? Do you have iMessaging turn on or off in your device? Let's check in Settings>Messages>iMessage is the switch Green? If it is green, let's go ahead and turn off iMessage for a second. Once you have that turned of tap on it again to turn it back on. Try to send a text to each other to see if it is back to working conditions again. If you are still having the same issue after this, delete her contact from your phone and re-add it. Once it's back in the phone test it out again. Please keep us posted.
