I am able to send text messages without a problem. However, since Saturday, I only receive messages while I have an active phone call. I have started calling my *86 as if I were checking my voicemail, receiving my texts & then hanging up. I know of at least 4 other people who are having this same issue, all of whom are Verizon customers. I have done the *228 thing & the situation has not changed.

What kind of phone do you have? Where do you use the phone (such as city & state or zip code)? You mentioned others are having the same issue. Do they also use service in that area?
