Terrible service in north Texas area

My phone lately has been showing 1x rather than 3G in this area most times (area code 76380).  I have an iPhone 5 and have reset network connections multiple times.  I had this problem when I first got my phone last year and was told by Verizon that there was a problem with a tower and that LTE service would be in this area before the end of 2013.  This never happened.  Can someone please check the service in this area?  I have other friends and coworkers that are complaining about their service as well.  Thanks.

My zip is 76266 and have the same issues...we live in a low lying area, were told 4G would help us...we now added the expense of 4G phones and the service is still bad, they say it is what it is, nothing they can do.  I can spend $ on a signal amplifier and they will credit me, I bought one and had to have dsl to make it work...I no longer have DSL and now I am told I should buy a different type...the first was marginally better... I'm about ready to change carriers after 8 years...

We're working hard to get stronger signal across the country, chosea. I do see the 76380 area has not been updated to LTE http://vz.to/1jQjc0y but does generally have 3G signal. That's a pretty big zip code though, and I see that coverage may vary in the area. With the spring and summer months, signal is generally weaker (indoors especially) since the terrain is fuller. While I don't have a date to provide when a new tower may be added to your area, our Network Extender http://vz.to/IHRT6h may help to bring stronger coverage into your home.
