Suspending a Line with Billing

I will be traveling abroad for 5 months, and will not be using my phone at all. If I suspend my line with billing, would that mean I still pay my monthly service charge every month? Then what would be the point of suspending the line?

Yes you would have to make the payments. If you suspend without billing, it will extend your contract for the period suspended and the suspension is 90 days each for a maximum of 180 days per calendar year.
